Who we are

A community-led movement for dignity and opportunity

Prateek Foundation is a non-profit charitable society founded in 2020 in Pune, working for the upliftment of the deprived and vulnerable — especially women, children, farmers and youth from weaker sections of rural and urban society.

Our Vision

Creation of a self-reliant community by mainstreaming the poor and under-privileged masses towards all-round development — through effective use of resources, conservation of the environment, better child education, healthy lifestyles, financial inclusion and skill development.

Our Mission

To develop an optimal mechanism for society — especially its deprived sections — with a commitment to sustainable livelihood and improved quality of life, achieved through developmental programs and the effective application of local resources, in partnership with the community.

Our Work

How we create change on the ground

From a child's first uniform to a woman's first income, our programs meet people where they are and help them rise.

Education & Student Support

Uniforms, notebooks, stationery and educational aid for underprivileged students, plus learning trips and cultural programs in schools.

Women's Empowerment & SHGs

Forming self-help groups, awareness camps and support to help women start their own businesses and gain financial independence.

Skill & Vocational Training

Training in computers, typing, tailoring, embroidery, beauty culture and handicrafts so women and youth can earn a livelihood.

Health Awareness

Health camps, blood group check-ups and awareness drives on women's and children's health and hygiene.

Environment & Tree Plantation

Tree plantation camps in schools and villages, and awareness on conservation to restore natural balance.

Farmer Welfare & Organic Farming

Support for farmers through organic farming, soil and water management, watershed development and agricultural guidance.

Youth & Self-Employment

Vocational training, dairy, goat rearing, poultry and small enterprise support to create self-employment opportunities.

Road Safety & Social Awareness

Road safety training, voter awareness and social awareness drives that build safer, more informed communities.

Senior Citizen & Animal Welfare

Service and care for senior citizens, and compassion-driven work in animal welfare within our communities.
